The Word "Lavish"

Words Attracitve - Lavish_03.png

I have a tangent for you. 🤓 It’s about the SOUND of the letter “V.” I don’t know know why, but I simply adore most words with “v” in them. I love the way my front teeth sit on my lower lip to make the “vuh” and “vvvvv” sound. 👄 Here I go…

Vapor. Vicariously. Vivian. Vericose veins. Virtual. Lavender. Savvy. Viceroy. Victor. Aviator. Vernacular. Extravagant. Covet. Evoke. Validate. Vascular. Devon. Divine. (Vagina — I know some of you were thinking it! My opinion — It’s an okay V-word, not my favorite.)

For me, these words have a sexiness and velvety-ness as they vibrate through our vocal chords and dance off our lips. So, today’s #fonteducation highlights the attractive word, #Lavish.

Definition: adjective \\ sumptuously rich, elaborate, or luxurious: a lavish banquet.

Font: The Abrahman Lincoln font was designed by @francesblank. “Tall. Skinny. Honest. Inspired by the proportions of the 16th President of the USA, and advertisements/playbills of the 1800s, Abraham Lincoln is a humanistic display face with moderate contrast and sturdy serifs.” Beautiful put Frances MacCleod. Use this font LARGE. Use it with any V words, I beg you. Find this font at www.losttype.com (@losttypecoop)17w
